Repeat Prescriptions

All patients should receive a full list of their repeat medication attached to their prescription; this should be used to reorder your medication. In the unlikely event that this information is incorrect, please inform us.

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered in the following ways:

  • Fax: 01792 585332
  • Online via the link at the top of this page - Instructions for use:Instructions on how to Register and Order a Prescription
  • By post
  • Through your pharmacy
  • Script box in medical centre foyer (please only tick the items you require on the repeat request slip)

Our repeat prescription service is fully computerised and you must remember to order your repeat medication well in advance of running out and allow at least 48 hours for requests to be processed.  In the event of a bank holiday this process will take longer than usual.

Your prescription will normally be ready for collection two working days after the day of ordering and after 14.00 pm.

Items ordered after 16:00 will not be processed until the following working day - please allow 48 hours from the next working day.

Pharmacy Pick Up Service

In conjunction with many local pharmacies we operate a repeat prescription ordering service. Your participating pharmacy will arrange to collect your prescription and you can collect your dispensed items at the pharmacy, or in some cases the pharmacy will arrange home deliveries.

Please ask for details at your pharmacy when you next request a repeat prescription. If you wish the Pharmacy to deliver your dispensed medication to your home you must also contact the pharmacy yourself.

Note: This service is not available for emergency prescriptions.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see/speak to a doctor, nurse or practice pharmacist at least once a year to review these regular medications and notifications should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate consultation (telephone) to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.
